💉Globally, immunization prevents between 2 & 3 million deaths every year. Still, 1 in 7 children are missing out. 🩺 Ending polio is Rotary's top humanitarian goal.

World Immunization Week and National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW) is April 24-30. NIIW is an annual observance highlighting the importance of protecting children two years and younger from vaccine-preventable diseases. It’s also a time to showcase the achievements of immunization programs and their partners in promoting healthy communities.

A big congratulations to our recent Club's Paul Harris Award recipients!! Continuing the legacy of our Rotary founder, the Paul Harris Fellow program recognizes individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. The honor was established in 1957 to show appreciation for contributions that support our Annual Fund, Polio Plus, or an approved Foundation grant.

The Rotary Club of Sun City West will be at the ARC Car Show on Saturday, February 10, 2024, selling raffle tickets for a pickleball themed basket valued at over $200. The funds we receive will support Rotary International’s continued, relentless efforts to eradicate polio globally. Raffle Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. No need to be present to win. Rotarians will be selling tickets at our table and will be walking around the show selling raffle tickets. PLEASE SUPPORT ROTARY IN THEIR EFFORTS TO ERADICATE POLIO AROUND THE WORLD!!!

The Rotary Club of Sun City West participated in an “Adopt-a-Family” initiative through Eve's Place and gathered gifts for a mom and her three children this holiday season. Eve's Place mission is ”to provide safety and empowerment through community based services for victims of domestic/sexual abuse”.
