At the May 20th meeting of the Colonel George Mercer Brooke Chapter NSDAR, Ron Windsor was awarded the Hannah White Arnett Medal by Registrar and Cemetery Preservation Chairman Vicki McDonnell. Compatriot Windsor, who is a recent past-President of the local Southshore Chapter Sons of the American Revolution, has dedicated many hours to supporting the work of the DAR chapter including work at Ruskin Memorial Cemetery locating, cleaning and marking Veterans' graves. In addition, Mr. Windsor has participated in various DAR activities such as work days for the Keep the Flags Flying, Constitution Day, and the Memorial Day ceremony at Kings Point Veterans Theatre. His loyalty and support are truly appreciated.
The Hannah White Arnett Medal is a DAR award recognizing SAR members for exceptional support and service to the Daughters of the American Revolution.
