On Thursday, December 11, the Sumter High School Speech & Debate Team will be performing a community showcase at the Sumter County Gallery of Art. The showcase is free and open to the public, so please consider coming out and showing your support for our newly reestablished speech and debate program. We hope to see you there!

This past weekend our team competed at the Warrior Invitational at Riverside High School. Thank you to Riverside for hosting and thank you to all of our sponsors that made this possible! We had 4 students that placed in their respective events. Brandon Reyes won 2nd place in Novice Congressional Debate, Johonna Patterson and Corbin Weatherwax won 4th place in Novice Public Forum, and Zillyon Glover won 6th place in Declamation. Congratulations to them!
