✨ Meet the Executive Board ✨

Kelley is excited to serve as Treasurer for the 2026-2027 League year. Now in her sixth year with the League, she has served in a variety of roles, including Crosswell Children's Home, Provisional Co-Chair, Co-Bookkeeper and Bookkeeper for Wishing Well, and Assistant Treasurer.

As Treasurer, Kelley tracks the League's income and expenses, including funds from Wishing Well, membership dues, and fundraisers. She oversees the distribution of funds to trust recipients and reimbursements to members, assists with budget preparation, and helps ensure the League's resources are used thoughtfully to support its goals and the community it serves. Serving as Treasurer allows Kelley to contribute in a meaningful way behind the scenes so the League can remain focused on what matters most-supporting others and giving back.

Originally from Hartsville, South Carolina, Kelley is a nurse practitioner with Prisma Health Cancer Institute. She and her husband, Chas, owner of Inspect Carolina, are parents to Shuler (7) and Luke (4).
Kelley is active at Grace Baptist Church, where she serves with the children's AWANA program, and she also serves on the Wilson Hall PTO Board.
In her free time, she enjoys exercising, playing tennis, reading, gardening, hunting, Mahjong, and spending a day at the lake.

✨Meet the Executive Board ✨

Melissa is excited to serve as Secretary of the SJWL and become more involved in helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes. She enjoys staying organized, keeping everyone on track, and making sure the little details don't get missed. She is especially looking forward to getting to know more members and working alongside the leadership team throughout the year.

This is Melissa's third year with the Sumter Junior Welfare League and her eighth year in Junior League overall, having transferred from the Junior League of Columbia. Originally from Columbia, Melissa attended Clemson University and has worked for SouthState Bank for 13 years.

She and her husband, Will, a Sumter native, have been married for ten years and have two children, Miller (6) and Olivia (4). Melissa and her family are members of CCC, and she also serves as Hospitality Chair for the Wilson Hall PTO.

We appreciate your willingness to serve, Melissa and look forward to great year with you 💜

✨Meet the Executive Board✨

The League is excited to welcome Brenley Davis as our new Vice President this year!

Now in her eighth year with SJWL, Brenley has served in many capacities, including Secretary, the Fundraising Committee (Co-Chair and Chair), Provisional Co-Chair, Hospitality Committee, Placement Council, and Admissions Council. She especially enjoyed her time on the Fundraising Committee, where working together on projects like tallying, stuffing envelopes, and organizing pick-up day created lasting friendships.

As VP, Brenley will be updating by-laws and serving on many committees throughout the league. She will assist our wonderful President, Anna as she is needed. "I'm excited for this year for all of the changes to come with the new points program. I feel that it brings so many new opportunities to get to know other members and serve the community. And, it likely will bring many by law changes for me!"

A Greenville native, Brenley is a financial advisor at Creech Schwartz Wealth Management. She and her husband, Richard, a Sumter native and self-employed boat broker with Davis Marine Management, have been married for 11 years and have two children-Pryor (7) and Lottie (4).

Brenley is a member of First Baptist Church and serves as President of Wilson Hall's PTO. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, visiting the lake or beach, and spending time with her family.

✨Meet the Executive Board ✨

This year, the League is honored to have Anna James serving as President.

A member since 2020, Anna has been involved in a variety of placements, including Crosswell Children's Home, Hospitality Chair/Co-Chair, and Admissions Chair/Co-Chair. She especially loved her time as Admissions Chair last year, welcoming one of the League's largest provisional classes of 27 members and getting to know so many incredible women making an impact in Sumter.

Originally from Elloree, SC, Anna is a speech-language pathologist with the Sumter School District. She and her husband, Will, a farmer, are parents to Millie (I0) and William (8).
Active in First Baptist Church of Sumter, they serve together as youth leaders for middle school students.

Anna also serves on the Wilson Hall PTO Board and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In her free time, she enjoys playing mahjong, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Thank you Anna for your commitment to lead this year! We can’t wait to see what all you will accomplish! 💜
