Vision:
Ester’s Jewels will train young women to be proud of their decision to save sex for marriage. Not only will these young ladies be equipped to resist physical temptation, they will also be taught the keys to a healthy spiritual life. Becoming a “Jewel” will also help grow each young woman into a great citizen, through participating in community service and community-related events. With the
ir physical and spiritual focus on God, these young women will grow to influence other young women as they enter new chapters of their lives, continuing to uphold the morals, values, and spiritual lessons learned at home and in Esther’s Jewels. They will grow to become wonderful wives, mothers, and business women who will train up another generation of young women to carry the torch of purity. Jewels-in-Training Sessions:
Our mandatory sessions, known as “Jewels-in-Training” Sessions, will be held on the third Saturday of each month. These sessions will be used to complete the “Jewels-in-Training” Curriculum created by our Founder and CEO, Ieshia Farmer. They are designed to be a response to the world’s plot to destroy the identity of the young, Christian woman. Each session explores the pressures of growing up with the desire to follow Jesus in this generation. We do not have the intent to force the idea of Christianity upon each young woman, but we are positive that by the end of the entire program, each young woman will want to continue to learn more about and grow closer to God. Farmer has several years of experience working with adolescents as a middle and high school educator. She understands the lifestyles, lingo, and emotions related to young people of this generation. She strongly suggests to young women that she is living proof that it is possible to live a fun, loving, and purpose-filled life of purity. She proudly gives herself as a vessel to be used by God to be an example that deciding to wait until marriage to have sex is not impossible. She works daily to destroy the stereotype that it is not “cool” to wait. She uses her own personal experiences to help each young woman overcome the pressure. Not only will she focus on physical purity, but she will teach young women all about spiritual purity. Her goal is not to make each young woman perfect, because perfection is not real, but she wants each young woman to understand that if she strives for God’s best, her life will be richly rewarded tangibly and intangibly.
