Request for Lawn Care Bids: Meadowcroft Subdivision
The Meadowcroft Homeowners Association is seeking bids for lawn care services from mid-March 2026 to the end of October 2026. We invite qualified and insured professionals to submit itemized quotes for the following services:
Scope of Work:
1. Mowing and Edging
 Two entrances at Meadowcroft and Windtree.
 Berm between Meadowcroft and Windtree.
 Lot at 1370 Malone Drive.
 Islands on Meadowcroft and Windtree.
 Island on Christopher Court
2. Pine Straw Installation
 Add pine straw twice a year to islands on Meadowcroft and Windtree.
 Add pine straw twice a year to flower beds at entrances on Meadowcroft and Windtree.
3. Shrubbery Maintenance
 Trim shrubbery as needed on islands at Meadowcroft and Windtree.
 Trim shrubbery as needed on entrances at Meadowcroft and Windtree.
4. Fire Ant Prevention & Maintenance
 Apply fire ant prevention on islands and entrances at Meadowcroft and Windtree.
 Apply fire ant prevention at 1370 Malone Drive.
5. Christmas Decorations – put up and take down
 Install existing Christmas Decorations at the Meadowcroft and Windtree entrances and Islands right after Thanksgiving.
 Remove Christmas Decorations at the Meadowcroft and Windtree entrances and Islands right after New Years.
6. Flower Bed Refresher
 Additional top soil on 4 flower beds at Meadowcroft and Windtree entrances
7. Optional – Seasonal Flower Bed beds
 Seasonal plantings (spring, summer, fall)
 Removal of spent plants
 Soil preparation and mulch as needed
Requirements:
 Must be licensed and provide a Certificate of Insurance.
 All quotes must be itemized. (Quotes not itemized will not be considered)
Submission Details:

 Deadline: January 31, 2026.
 Contract award will be announced by February 15, 2026.

🎃 Happy Halloween from Meadowcroft! 👻

We’re excited to welcome families for a safe and fun night of trick-or-treating in our neighborhood! Trick-or-treating hours are 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

🍬 For your convenience, Beefed Up Dogs will be set up at the corner of Meadowcroft and Ashlynn Way and will take cash and card sales. A perfect stop to grab a bite while you make you candy rounds! 🌭

We kindly ask everyone to help us keep our neighborhood clean and enjoyable for all. Please make sure candy wrappers and trash find their way into a bin.

Dear Homeowners,

We are aware of recent posts in the Sumter Community group containing misinformation about the HOA’s financial practices and the integrity of the Board. While we understand that transparency is essential, we want to assure you that the Board will not engage in a public battle on social media.

We take our responsibilities seriously and are committed to maintaining the integrity of the HOA. Our records and accounting are thorough and fully comply with the bylaws governing our operations. In response to the concerns raised, a request for an audit has been submitted. Per our bylaws, the Board will call a special meeting of homeowners to discuss and vote on this request. This process will take some time, and we ask for your patience as we work through the appropriate steps.

We sincerely thank you for your understanding, support, and the many messages of encouragement we have received during this time. The Board remains dedicated to serving the best interests of our community, and we look forward to resolving this matter constructively and transparently.

Please be on the lookout for a silver/gray Ram 2500 quad cab truck with a black toolbox in the bed and a black wrap around brush guard on the front.

This truck was used to steal a 16-foot metal landscape trailer. Truck was driven by a white male. The trailer is dual axle with 2-foot wire mesh sides all around.
