PGT Beauregard Camp 1458, SC Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, is a non-profit educational and historical organization that exists to preserve the memory of the brave citizen soldiers that found themselves engaged in the war between the states. Our particular camp, located in Sumter, SC accepts all men who have had an ancestor who fought for the confederacy. We meet on the second Thursday of each month. Join the Camp on Thursday Evening June 18th at 6:30 for the monthly meeting. The Commander will have a report on his visit to A H Stephens State Park in Georgia. Stephens, as you know, was the VP of the Confederacy. Should be an exciting meeting. The other group will not be an issue this month, so let’s have a good turnout like last month. See you Thursday at 6:30.
