The Sumter SC 250 Committee will be hosting a special Reading of the Declaration of Independence as part of the celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary.

📍 Old Courthouse Steps — Sumter, SC

They are looking for volunteers from local Veterans Service Organizations to help participate in the reading. This is a great opportunity for our Veterans to stand together and honor the words that helped create the nation we proudly served.

VFW Post 3034 will also have the opportunity to set up a membership table on the courthouse lawn to share our mission, support Veterans, and continue building our Post.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out last night for Friday Night Karaoke! The energy, support, laughter, and camaraderie are exactly what makes this Post special.

A special shout-out to Aundre “DJ 2 Chains” Randolph for keeping the music going and the crowd entertained all night long! 🎶🎤 Your dedication and support help bring our members, families, and community together.

Last night wasn’t just about singing — it was about building something bigger. We handed out:

🇺🇸 2 new Auxiliary membership applications

Every new member strengthens our mission, our voice, and our ability to serve Veterans, their families, and our community.
