Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated - Pi Theta Chapter The first sorority chartered on the campus of Morris College in Sumter, SC on December 10, 1977. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

was founded January 16, 1920, at Howard University, Washington, D.C by five co-eds: Arizona Cleaver Stemons, Pearl A. Neal, Fannie Pettie Watts, Myrtle Tyler Faithful and Viola Tyler Goings. Our founders dared to depart from the traditional coalitions for Black women an sought to establish a new organization predicated on the precepts of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love and Finer Womanhood.
