PAX — October is our Accelerate fundraising campaign, and I’ve been thinking about what generosity has meant in my own F3 journey.
Years ago, three PAX carried and encouraged me through the Leatherneck Mud Run when I was clearly the slowest guy on our team. Before the Palmetto 200, when my grandmother died and my training fell apart, my teammates rearranged the legs so I could run shorter routes—and somebody else quietly took the harder miles. Over the years there have been countless coffees, beers, and meals bought, gear loaned, and PAX willing to give their time and resources so another man could participate.
That’s F3. We give what we have to help another man become better.
F3 has always been free, but maybe giving back to the organization that has given so much to us is another step in our own leadership journey—and a way to make sure another man gets the same opportunity.
Our October goal is $1,500, with 5 PAX committing $300—or $20/month. Hitting that goal will also earn an F3 Accelerate shovel flag for our region as well as a nifty pair of red F3 socks for the individual PAX who give.
