To everyone who stepped up to support our veteran this week — thank you. Your kindness, generosity, and love made it possible for us to help a hero who needed a new companion by his side. Moments like this remind us why our mission matters and why this community is so special.

Hoardin' Huskies has always stood proudly with our veterans. Their sacrifices deserve more than words — they deserve action, compassion, and support. And because of you, we were able to make a real difference for one of them.

As we look ahead, we want to do even more.

We are excited to announce the beginning of our Veteran Campaign — an ongoing program dedicated to covering the costs for any veteran who wants to adopt one of our dogs and needs our help. Our 6 month old Chikis went from playful and loving to collapsed and later dead, all within 12 hours. She was literally two days away from her spay appointment! The Foster’s kids had gone outside with her to play, and within minutes, she collapsed. They carried her inside and she died before we could even get her to the hospital. Dr Hanna suspects poisoning. I always give my fosters the option of keeping the ashes, and they feel that this is one of life’s harder lessons for the kids, and chose to get them back.

So today is five dollar Friday will be in honor of Chikis, and all funds raised will go towards her cremation and returned ashes. Please donate if you can spare $5 today.

WITHOUT SUPPORT Hoardin' Huskies WON’T BE ABLE TO TAG TILLY

Tilly from Harris County animal shelter in Houston needs at least $2500 in pledges due to needing major medical attention from Neighborhood Veterinary Centers - Nederland.

Without PLEDGES not DONATIONS we can’t tagged her before the shelter closes today and she will be euthanized tomorrow morning before the shelter even opens. We are over $1000 short.

She is scheduled to be euthanized Friday morning unless we can secure $2,500 in PLEDGES for the medical care she will need the moment she is pulled.

💔 Why Tilly Needs Us Right Now

Tilly has multiple urgent medical issues that require immediate care from Dr. Brady Hanson DVM at Neighborhood Veterinary Centers - Nederland:

• Severe, chronic ear infections — she will need to be put under anesthesia so her ears can be fully cleaned and packed with strong antibiotics
• Possible long‑term chronic ear disease, similar to our sweet Reno
• Several masses on her body that must be removed
• These masses must be sent to the lab to determine if they are benign or malignant
• She will require minor surgery, diagnostics, and follow‑up care

Dr. Hanson estimates $2,500 minimum for her initial treatment and surgery.

Without these pledges, Tilly will not make it out alive.

🚗🐾 TRANSPORT HELP NEEDED FOR ZEUSY BOY! 🐾🚗

Hoardin' Huskies family, we could really use a helping hand.

Our handsome Zeusy Boy needs a ride from the Ranch in Cypress, TX (290 & Jones Rd) to his grooming appointment at 3 PM, also in the Cypress, TX area.

TX Tammy has a work commitment and is worried she won’t be able to get this sweet boy to the pretty parlor on time.

And trust us… Zeusy NEEDS this glow‑up.
Right now he’s a little matted and definitely not looking like the runway model we know he can be. He has a potential adopter watching, and this appointment is his chance to shine like the superstar he is.

If you can help transport Zeusy Boy so he can look and feel his best, we would be so grateful.

🇺🇸🐾 Helping a Veteran Heal — One Husky at a Time 🐾🇺🇸

Hoardin' Huskies has always stood proudly with our Veterans. As our nation approaches its 250th anniversary, we feel called to do even more for the men and women who have sacrificed so much.

This week, we received an adoption application from a Veteran named Darren. He recently lost his best friend, Jack — a loyal companion who helped him through some of his hardest days. Darren is 100% disabled, and his companion dog is truly his lifeline.

When we saw his application for sweet Sasha, we knew she was meant for him.

We are covering all of Sasha’s vetting, but we need help covering her transport cost so she can make it home to the man who needs her most. The transporter fee is $200 — and while that may not sound like much, caring for nearly 200 dogs across the country means every dollar is already stretched thin.

Sasha and Darren will be united this Friday.
If you can make even a small donation, it will directly help get Sasha to her new dad — her new purpose — her new best friend.
