🩷Social Media Competition Day #2 🩷
Today I have the pleasure of spotlighting my amazing director: Mary Margret Carly!!

Mrs.Mary Margret was first introduced to the program in 1997 when one of her childhood best friends became that years Miss Hospitality. Years later, her and her daughter, Molly Kate, supported a friend of hers in the competition. The following year Molly Kate decided to compete herself, and that’s what sparked her love for the program. She loved her involvement as a parent, and when the opportunity to become a director arose she happily accepted. She not only loves the program but all of the people as well! She has served the Sumrall community well and will continue to do so in the future!

Only 50 days until another girl gets to experience this magical moment. 👑

It feels like just yesterday I was standing on the stage of the Saenger Theater hearing my name called as Mississippi Miss Hospitality 2025. That night changed my life forever, and now another girl is only 50 days away from her moment. The countdown to the 2026 Mississippi Miss Hospitality Competition week is officially on! 💙

Introducing this years Little Sumrall Miss Hospitality: 💙 Sophie Rae Mordica 💙

Sophie Rae is finishing second grade at Benedict Day School in Sumrall. She loves her school and is both smart and creative. Sophie Rae has the sweetest spirit, and everyone who knows her adores her. She has a natural gift for creativity and is almost always busy making or crafting something. She especially loves art and truly excels at it. When she’s not creating, you’ll likely find her outside—she loves being outdoors and spending time with her family.

I am so excited to have Sophie Rae help me represent the wonderful town of Sumrall and cannot wait to see all we accomplish together!! 💙

Such a fun Saturday! I loved getting to volunteer and meet some of my fellow local Miss Hospitalities!!

What an amazing year it has been serving as Sumrall’s Miss Hospitality! As my time begins to wrap up, I’m getting excited to welcome the next young woman who will represent our wonderful community.

One fun fact I love sharing: all three of my on-stage dresses were thrifted from the 360 Thrift Store! My evening gown was actually purchased years ago and first worn during the talent portion of Lamar County’s Distinguished Young Woman. And both my opening number dress and my commercial dress were bought before I even entered Miss Hospitality!

I’ve always enjoyed thrifting for home decor and clothing, and once I began my Miss Hospitality journey, I kept my eyes open for anything that would work for competition week. I ended up finding most of my shorts for the week, a hat for the Breakfast at Tiffany’s party, plus some shoes and accessories. Thrifting is one of my favorite hobbies—it’s fun, incredibly budget-friendly (which is a must as a college student!), and it supports others and our community.
