Today, our volunteers are attacking our necklace boards! Been here for a sale or two? Send it to the dollar table! Marked two dollars in the past? Off to the dollar table it goes!

This is fun. Come volunteer with us as we get ready for the November 13-15 Giant Donated Jewelry Sale!

☕️ The Friends will be part there with coffee! ☕️
Come say hi, ask us what the Friends actually do, and hear how you can help at our Jewelry Sale in November.
We'll be there with coffee from 1:30 to 3:30. Come for the music. Grab a coffee. Leave a Friend.

Navesink Brass presents “250 Years of American Music and Culture,” featuring tunes from the Revolutionary era through jazz, Broadway, television, and film.

Our free concerts are held in the Rotunda. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis. All are welcome.

Made possible by funds from the Union County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

👻 Is your jewelry box haunted by things you never wear?

Bring us your bling! 💍

Those necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and brooches gathering dust could be someone else’s treasure. Donate them to the Friends of the Summit Free Public Library jewelry sale and make room for a few new treats of your own.

Unearth your buried treasures. We’ll take it from there! 🎃✨

We LOVE our librarians at the Summit Free Public Library!
A little weekend reading: LIBRARIANS ARE LIBRARIES
Read what these real librarians had to say about their jobs their careers and their passions.
"These librarians want you to know that they don’t sit around reading all day. They want you to know about book bans and budget cuts, but also about career counseling and crafting groups and pop-up medical clinics." — NYT

We asked dozens of them about America’s libraries — what they provide, what they need to survive. Here’s what they told us.
