The Fortnightly Club Awards $25,000 in Manley-Winser Scholarships to Four Summit Residents! 🎓✨
The Fortnightly Club of Summit is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2026 Manley-Winser Scholarships, awarding a total of $25,000 to four outstanding Summit residents. Selected for their academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to service, these young women exemplify the qualities the scholarship program was established to recognize and encourage.
The 2026 scholarship recipients are:
• Wu-Yi Kessler, who will attend Marist University to study advertising.
• Jaenelle Osei-Yeboah, who will study molecular and cell biology at the University of Connecticut with plans to pursue a career in genetics.
• Jennifer Zhou, who will attend Northwestern University, where she will double major in biology and linguistics.
• Lauryn (Rory) Gingeleskie, who will attend the University of Tennessee to study communications.
Selected through a competitive application process, these students have distinguished themselves through their academic accomplishments, extracurricular involvement, and dedication to serving others. Their achievements, character, and determination reflect the values The Fortnightly Club seeks to foster through its scholarship program.
The Manley-Winser Scholarship is made possible through a generous grant from the Manley-Winser Foundation. The scholarship is an important initiative of The Fortnightly Club of Summit, helping local young women pursue higher education and achieve their academic aspirations.
The Fortnightly Club of Summit is a women’s organization dedicated to community service, outreach, and friendship. Its more than 100 members, representing Summit and neighboring communities including New Providence, Berkeley Heights, Chatham, and Short Hills, come together to support charitable causes, participate in engaging activities, and build lasting connections. The Fortnightly Club is currently welcoming new members.
