Spring is here and that means everything is blooming and growing - and some of it is growing too fast! So, we have some equipment (nothing crazy) but if you or someone you know is in need (we are talking elderly, disabled, or does not have/cannot afford lawn care or equipment) share this post and send us as DM and we will take care of your lawn for FREE!

We know many people have HOA’s or the City coming after them for their lawns overgrowth and they simply do not have the ability to take care of it themselves, so we want to help because this is the worst time for extra fees, penalties, tickets and any other host of inconveniences that may come from a neglected property!

Let us know, we’ll set up a date and we will come out and do some cutting! Now, we aren’t professional landscapers, but we can do enough to make your lawns look neat, tidy & refreshed and all at NO COST to you!

We have a logo!! Things are moving along - I have the Non-Profit paperwork in progress, and we should be able to start accepting donations AND we will have some items going up for pick up by this Saturday!

We’ll be placing them here and in local facebook buy/sell groups around the tri-county area this weekend! And the web domain has been purchased, and we’ll update you on the site as soon as it’s up and running!

Just another update: when accepting Furniture donations, we will take furniture in any condition, as I have some skills that I learned from her over the years and we will renovate and refurbish anything brought to us to the best of my ability to help those in need.

Everyone deserves nice things, I have two wording hands, tools, and a strong back. We’ll make sure everything that comes out of here will be as beautiful as she was, and passed on to those who need a helping hand.

Even down to her last moments, she still took what she had, and helped people. People she didn’t even know. I got this message (and a private email from one of the families that I won’t share for the sake of their privacy) and my mothers kidneys saved the lives of two different people’s family members.

And this is what I’m building this foundation on. Brick by Brick, in her name I will do what she’s done her entire life, and that is HELP.

Keep following, I should be able to draw up a logo and secure the domain for the site, open accounts, get the non profit paperwork sent in, and start accepting donations (monetary and non-monetary) by the end of March.

[Also, this Foundation will work and preside with full transparency as there will be documentation of EVERYTHING that flows in and out on the website once it is built out so that everyone can rest assured that all donations are going to the right people for the right reasons. ]

Mission statement:
The Anese Furman Foundation exists to honor the life and generosity of Anese Furman by providing free food, clothing, household goods, school support, and emergency relief to individuals and families facing hardship across the Tri-County area of Charleston, South Carolina, with dignity, compassion, and no barriers to care.

Vision statement:
A Lowcountry where no family goes without basic essentials, no child is held back by poverty, and neighbors help neighbors with dignity, speed, and love.

Core promise:
Everything is free. No shame. No resale. No exploitation. Just community care.
