Clap Your Hands is now on our SUMMER BREAK - this allows our volunteers to spend time with their family and friends. We will be back to work the first week of August.

From the team of Clap Your Hands we want to wish everyone a very Happy Mother's Day!
I remember when my granddaughter was two years old, we were trying to get her to say Mama to my daughter.....God's gift to her, was when my granddaughter said Mama for the first time on Mother's Day. It was a day of great joy for my daughter and us too. We danced, clapped, laughed and thanked God for choosing that special day to have her say MAMA!

What's the latest? Clap Your Hands donated 264 therapeutic products away in April, to local families and schools in need. That brings our total for 2026 up to 1,101 products donated. We are blessed with a dedicated team of seamstresses!

We have the WINNERS for the Rex Porter Summer Camp Scholarship for 2026.
I would like to thank the Porter Family who make it possible for this scholarship every year!
I would like to start off by saying that everyone who submitted was worthy to receive a scholarship....the decision was very difficult.

I didn't even realize that children and infants could have a Stroke, until it happened to my granddaughter. It took 7 mos. to get a diagnosis, but by then the damage had been done.

JUST 2 DAYS LEFT to submit your Summer Camp Application. The deadline is April 30th. Please take a few moments to read the guidelines. Fill out the 1 page application, and a short medical referral from your child's therapist/ABA/pediatrician, or counselor. We will announce the winners the first week of May - on our page. We will also contact the the winners through email.

Time sensitive - FREE SEWING CLASS - age 13 years and up. Miles Road Baptist Church is hosting a 2-part sewing class. They are holding 5 slots open. First come, First serve. You can call the number, or either write on this post, or CYHs PM. This Saturday will be on all the basics, and Part 2 is making your own product to take home.

Please join Clap Your Hands in saying THANK YOU to our dedicated Volunteers!! We have a team of expert seamstress's, who provide us with professional products. Many have been quilters for 30+ years. Our volunteers provide their time, and resources to get our products to the families and schools asap. WE LOVE OUR CYH's VOLUNTEERS!!!
