Seniors, this one's for you! Senior Day at the Coastal Carolina Fair is Wednesday, November 4.

⭐ Exhibits & vendors 10 a.m.–2 p.m. — health care, senior services, veteran and caregiver resources
⭐ Fair food, animals, exhibits & music
⭐ Only $5 for seniors 55+ and guests with disabilities of any age
⭐ One caregiver gets in FREE
⭐ Your admission is good all day — rides open at 3 p.m., Bull Riding in the evening
⭐ Accessible parking and quiet places to rest

Bring your spouse, your friends, your church group, or your neighbors. Groups are welcome!

ACCESSiFALL FESTIVAL IS HERE!

Join us for a morning of fall fun created especially for individuals with special needs! 🧡 The AccessiFALL Festival is an inclusive celebration where participants and their families can enjoy activities, entertainment, and all the best parts of fall in a welcoming environment.

📍 Ashley River Park

There’s so much to enjoy, including face painting, PECS cards, a sensory room, fall festival games and activities, an electric train, petting zoo, balloon art, giant bubbles, and more! 🚂🐐🫧🎨

Our goal is to provide a fun and accessible experience where everyone can participate, explore, and make some wonderful fall memories. 🍁

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY - October 7, 2026
NEW GUIDELINES ~

*Only an Occupational Therapist can place an order for products
*Child must be at least 3 years old and 30 pounds - weighted products and sensory/fidget items
*Vests must be mnimum of 4 years old and 40 lbs.
*O.T. can only place a maximum of 2 orders a month

Clap Your Hands will have an Amazon Wish List in the next few days
After meeting with our Board Members, Clap Your Hands will need to implement these new guidelines ASAP.

Clap Your Hands is a Charleston-based nonprofit dedicated to providing weighted supplies to children with disabilities who need them — and we need our community’s help to continue this important work.

For many children, weighted items can provide comfort, support regulation, and help them feel more secure throughout their day. Unfortunately, these specialized supplies can be expensive and may not be accessible to every family who needs them.

Through donations, we are able to provide weighted supplies to children and families at no cost to them. As the need continues to grow, so does our need for community support.

Clap Your Hands has donated a total of 2,393 therapeutic products in the Low Country. January - August. We are thankful for all of our volunteers who work so hard to make the best products possible for our families and schools.

Clap Your Hands has been busy - we came back from our Summer break this week. August 1 - 7 we donated 55 products - 1 week.

JULY - we donated back to school SAMPLE BAGS to our self contained classrooms - we filled every order, right down to the last classroom therapeutic product. We were happy to do it.

***if your school or organization is looking to sponsor a fundraiser, I would like too humbly ask that you would consider Clap Your Hands. We are all volunteers, and work out of our homes. 100% of the donations received go directly back to our community - Berkeley, Charleston, DD 2 & 4.

A wonderful opportunity to see a local production of The Addams Family Musical.

Our SAMPLE BAG give-away was a huge success! We were able to donate to schools in the Berkeley, Charleston and DD's 2 & 4 districts. Providing 787 therapeutic products to our students. We "sold" out of everything.
Clap Your Hands will be back to work the first week of August for our local families.

OUR BACK TO SCHOOL - SAMPLE BAG is NOW CLOSED!

We have 30 schools and another page of a waiting list.
Thank you for everyone who has emailed us. I honestly wish we could provide for all the classrooms.

**on a side note, if any schools are looking to sponsor a local non-profit, all of our $$ goes back to therapeutic supplies for our local families and schools.
