Racquets For Recovery

We are so grateful for your sponsorships and support of our Racquets for Recovery Tournament over the years.

After 18 years of organizing this event, we have come to the unfortunate decision that the Pine Forest Ladies Tennis Association is no longer able to host this event. Following much deliberation and discussion, we have realized we just don’t have enough volunteers to adequately carry out the tournament.

We have researched several alternatives, and were hopeful that a new location could be found to continue the tournament. Unfortunately, no one feels able to accomplish this in 2023, but we do have hopes that a local facility will be able to host the tournament in 2024. In the meantime, we encourage you to continue to support MUSC in any ways you are able. Giving is easy through their website donor page at

As our Flock is preparing to migrate further south for the season - we want to thank all our generous donors who hosted the flock during October. Great testament!

Chemotherapy made Carol Richburg’s long silver hair fall out. A tennis tournament gave her a wig and the freedom to feel like herself while fighting cancer.
