🎓 Scholarship applications are now OPEN!

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Lambda Nu Zeta Chapter invites eligible students to apply for the 2027 Finer Womanhood Post-Secondary Award!

College-bound high school seniors at Ashley Ridge, Fort Dorchester, Summerville, and Woodland high schools with a minimum 3.0 GPA are encouraged to apply. Preference is given to female applicants.

📅 Application deadline: January 31, 2027

Submit a completed typed application, an essay of no more than 500 words, a 3–5 minute video, an official transcript, and two letters of recommendation. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Today, we celebrate a Soror whose heart for service and commitment to others can be seen in everything she does! In her career, she dedicates herself to supporting and empowering others and she brings that same passion to Zeta.

From previously leading our Community Service Initiatives to continuing to pour into our beloved Finer Friends and now being our current Vice President, her dedication to serving our chapter and community is truly appreciated.

September is National Sickle Cell Awareness Month—a time to shine a light on sickle cell disease and the impact blood donations can have on those living with this inherited red blood disorder.

Why Sickle Cell Awareness Matters:
It is estimated that about 1 in 13 Black or African American babies in the U.S. is born with sickle cell trait, and 1 in 365 are affected by sickle cell disease.
Individuals with sickle cell disease may require up to 100 units of blood each year.
Awareness helps reduce stigma, strengthen advocacy and build a supportive community.
