✨We love our Service Saturdays!✨
Earlier this month, we spent the morning volunteering at the International Primate Protection League - helping build fencing, garden, and plant crops. We even got a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility and met some of their adorable resident gibbons and otters!

Last week we had the pleasure of distributing dictionaries to local elementary schools so that every third-grader has their own copy. This is a national program sponsored by Home Depot, and Rotary clubs throughout the country handle distribution.

This morning, members of the Summerville Evening Rotary Club gathered for our annual HAPPY FEET service project, an initiative to provide brand-new shoes to deserving grade school students in the Summerville area.

With support from school guidance counselors, each child receives a special invitation letter and voucher to attend the event. The children are then given the opportunity to select and receive a new pair of shoes.
