2026 MUSC SCOR SYMPOSIUM was held today and explored all things survivorship! AYA patients, survivors, and caregivers were a focus in several keynotes & panels and we loved to see it! Katherine shared some of her AYA caregiver lived experience on a panel and we were grateful for the opportunity to share about our programs with attendees throughout the day. We’re excited for continued collaboration to improve AYA specific care and survivorship outcomes! Thanks for including us in this wonderful event!

RIVERDOGS DOGS WITH A CAUSE is less than 2 weeks away! Have you registered on our website for your group tickets? Boonies please register in Circle. Game starts at 7:05pm on June 23rd and a Boonie will be throwing out the first pitch! Come raise awareness for AYA Cancer needs and show young adults impacted by cancer that they aren’t facing it alone!

NATIONAL CANCER SURVIVOR DAY! You’re a survivor from day 1 of diagnosis, but our Boonies know that post-treatment survivorship brings all new challenges. Our support doesn’t stop when treatment ends, and we are honored to come alongside AYA cancer survivors facing diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. We honor you all today- wherever you are in survivorship!

NATIONAL CANCER SURVIVOR MONTH kicked off in style this week with two standing-room only “Living in Bloom” events hosted by Roper St Francis and Charleston Oncology! We were honored to be included in their events at their Berkeley and West Ashley campuses. It was wonderful to share about our programs and the people we serve, visit with old friends and new, connect with providers, and celebrate survivors (including some Boonies)! Thanks for including the AYA community in 2 wonderful events and Happy National Cancer Survivor Month to all impacted by a diagnosis!

JUNE CALENDAR of EVENTS! June is National Cancer Survivor Month and we’ll be busy celebrating, educating, advocating, and learning all things “survivorship” throughout the month! Boonies should register for our Courage Club events in Circle. We hope to see many supporters, friends, and family at The Riverdogs on the 23rd. Details & registration on our website.
