A Letter from the PTA President
Dear Sires Families, Students, Staff, and PTA Members,
As this school year comes to a close, so does my 2 year term serving as your PTA President. It is hard to put into words what an honor it has been to serve this incredible school community.
When I first stepped into this role, I hoped to make a positive impact on our school. What I quickly learned is that the true strength of Sires is not found in any one person or program—it is found in the people who make up our Stingray family. From our dedicated teachers and staff, to our supportive families, enthusiastic students, generous community partners, and hardworking volunteers, every success we celebrated this year was possible because of you.
Together, we have created memories that our students will carry with them for years to come. We have cheered at events, supported our teachers, raised funds for our school, volunteered countless hours, and most importantly, worked together to make Sires a place where every child can learn, grow, and shine.
To our students: Thank you for your smiles, excitement, and endless energy. You are the reason we do what we do. Watching you learn, achieve, and create lasting friendships has been the greatest reward of all.
To our families: Thank you for your trust, encouragement, and support. Whether you attended events, volunteered your time, donated supplies, or simply cheered us on, your involvement has made a tremendous difference.
To our teachers, staff, and administration: Thank you for your partnership and dedication to our students. Your commitment inspires us every day, and it has been a privilege to support the important work you do.
To our PTA Board and volunteers: Thank you for every hour, every idea, every email, every event setup, and every behind-the-scenes task that often goes unseen. Your passion and teamwork have made this year a success.
As I pass the torch to the incoming PTA President, I do so with confidence and excitement. I know our PTA will continue to grow, innovate, and support our school in wonderful ways. I encourage everyone to stay involved, join the PTA, volunteer when you can, and continue building the strong community that makes Sires so special.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve as your PTA President. The memories, friendships, and experiences I have gained through this role will stay with me forever. While my term may be ending, I will always be proud to be part of the Sires Stingray family.
Remember, once a Stingray, always a Stingray.
With gratitude and appreciation,
Stormi Kerchner
