🌱 Carolina Teen Center Garden Update 🌱

Our garden did very well this season, and the kids were so happy and excited about the harvest! We grew cucumbers, green peppers, red peppers, squash, zucchini, green beans, and tomatoes.

We are proud of the hard work our teens put into planting, caring for, and harvesting the vegetables. What a wonderful experience! 🥒🍅🫑🌱

Join Charleston County School District’s McKinney-Vento Program for the 4th Annual Serving the Unhoused Community Event!

🕚 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
📍 North Charleston Convention Center
5001 Coliseum Drive, North Charleston, SC

Families can enjoy free food, children’s activities, giveaways, valuable community resources, and a job fair featuring more than 15 employers. There will also be a refurbished car giveaway for a deserving family!

Free parking is available in the garage off Montague Avenue.

Come connect with more than 50 community partners as we support displaced families and build stronger communities together! 💙

Our Carolina Teen Center girls had an amazing mentoring session with their mentor, Ms. Jasmine! 💕 We are grateful for her time, encouragement, and commitment to empowering our young ladies. Positive mentorship helps build confidence, strengthen character, and inspire brighter futures!

📢 Attention CTC Supporters and Parents 📢

There seems to be some confusion regarding our recent 4-H Club announcement, and we would like to clarify.

The 4-H Club is **not a summer camp**. It is an exciting **year-round youth development program** that will be coming soon to Carolina Teen Center. The program will provide opportunities for youth to participate in hands-on learning, leadership development, STEM activities, community service, agriculture, life skills, and much more throughout the year.

We are excited about this new opportunity and look forward to seeing many of our summer campers and other youth participate when the program launches.

We apologize for any confusion the previous post may have caused and appreciate your continued support of Carolina Teen Center and the youth we serve.

🌱 Gardening Day at Carolina Teen Center! 🌱

Our teens spent the day getting their hands dirty and learning valuable life skills in the CTC Garden! From watering to weeding and maintaining garden beds, our youth worked together to help our garden grow.

Gardening teaches responsibility, patience, teamwork, and the importance of healthy living. We are proud of our teens for their hard work and dedication to creating something that will benefit our center and community.
