Another successful Back to School backpack drive in the books. Through generous donations Best PCS Ever, SC donated 24 filled backpacks to active duty families at the Charleston Airforce Base. Thanks First Sgt. Chelsea Moschell for partnering with us!

Our team at BestPCS Ever, SC would like to extend a grateful thank you to the residents of Summers Corner and Nexton in Summerville, SC and the employees of David’s Bridal in North Charleston for their generous food and clothing donations for our 250 for the 250th drive in honor of the anniversary of our country. We collected 363 food and clothing items for the Ralph H. Johnson Healthcare Center in Charleston, SC. These donations helped fill the food bank and clothing closet at the VA. Distributions are made to patients who visit the VA who are in need of these items. Food insecurities, under housing, homelessness and lack of access to resources are real issues facing our veterans and active duty members and their families. Best PCS, Ever is honored to give back.

June 12-July 5
250 food or new clothing items donation drive. In honor of the 250 Anniversary of our country, BestPCS Ever, SC is collecting items to support the food bank and clothing closet at the Ralph H. Johnson Veterans Healthcare facility in Charleston, SC.

October 8
Stand Down to Homelessness held at the North Charleston Colleseum. This is an annual national event which supports homeless and under housed veterans and their families and is hosted by our local VA in Charleston, SC. BestPCS Ever, SC will be distributing hygiene kits, towels and blankets

November 8
Veterans Day Parade in downtown Charleston. We’ve been invited by the VA to ride on their Veteran’s Day float. BestPCS Ever will be represented by Garrett Holter our COO and US Navy Veteran.

November 23
We are very excited to announce that our family’s non profit, Best PCS Ever South Carolina is partnering with The Knot Burger Pub in Summerville, SC this November 23, 2026 as a fund raiser. The Knot has generously offered to donate proceeds from their famous Birchy burgers. 52 weeks; 52 non profits will be sponsored in 2026. Please like and follow our respective pages for on going information and to support a local restaurant and 52 of our local non profits. Good food; great company surrounded by an amazing community with big hearts. Stay tuned for more!!

Last week, BestPCS Ever, SC started a campaign to collect 250 food items and clothing for veterans and their families to honor the 250th anniversary of our country on July 4th. The very first donation came from a wonderful neighbor who is a disabled veteran. We were overwhelmed with her generosity and kindness. When we went to pick up her donation, we asked if there was anything we could do for her. She told us that she’d rather give than get. By the end of our conversation, we agreed that a good trim to the bushes in front of her house was a fair trade.

With the help of other neighbours who are part of a garden club, we got the job done. Thank you Shelli Petrohoy for your service and kind heart and to Doug Wolf and Jonathan Wentz for a job well done.
