FHS dance Saturday was our Independence Day celebration. Several members were traveling and unable to attend, but we danced two squares nonetheless with the help of B&B guest and caller Herb Franklin doing double duty as both caller and dancer. Look at this group of happy dancers!

Day 2 of the SC Square Dance Convention highlighted the fashion show. Our June & Christy and Amy & Brad both participated. A young girl had a standard poodle as her es**rt, and a solo participant wore the SC Federation skirt with appliqued SC scenes. The pattern used to be available years ago, I don't know if it still is or not. She also had a matching appliqued handbag.

There were quite a few door prizes to be won as well. Dave, Pat, June, Christy, Amy, Brad all won door prizes. I think I forgot one more, if so, my apologies.
