Introduced to Summersville, WV in 2002, CELEBRATE RECOVERY (CR) at Summersville is the oldest running CR location in WV. Our organization originated at the Saddleback Church at Lake Forest, CA over 20 years ago. CR was originally launched with only 43 people, but has since expanded to over 22,000 locations worldwide, including Summersville Baptist Church. CR continues to expand into new areas, wit

h other locations in WV pending. Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory. It was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process.
