Women’s March
Saturday November 2 at 11am-12:30pm
Lake Sumter Landing Town Square
On November 2nd, thousands of feminists will converge in Washington, D.C., and across the nation, and in our home towns to show the strength of our feminist movement.
This will be a non-partisan event, and no campaigning will be allowed. Bring yourselves, bring your signs. As we walk, we must stay on the sidewalks and not impede the flow of traffic.
SPEAKERS:
Dorothy Dobbs, Sisters of Suffrage
Rosemary Niles, former head of MOMS Demand Action, Citrus County
Rev. Kristina Spaude, Minister for Tri-County Unitarian Universalists in Summerfield, FL and the UU Congregation of Lake County in Eustis, FL
We support:
The right to live free from violence and discrimination
The right to enjoy the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health
The right to be educated
The right to vote
