Yesterday, Wyatt made the decision to publicly profess his faith through baptism, and making the moment even sweeter, he was baptized by his house pop, Mr. Clyde.

There are so many parts of what we do here that matter, but getting to walk alongside our boys as they grow in their faith will always be one of the greatest privileges we have.

We are so proud of you, Wyatt, and we pray that you continue to grow in your relationship with the Lord and always remember just how deeply you are loved.

Today, one of our Ranchers, River, is competing at Cubing the Coast, where he’ll compete in both Pyraminx and 3x3x3!

But our favorite part of this picture isn’t even the competition. In a house full of boys, with schedules to juggle and a hundred things always going on, our house parents made sure River got to have something that was just for him. One on one time. A day centered around something he loves. Someone sitting beside him, cheering him on and reminding him that his interests matter.

That’s what our house parents do so beautifully. They don’t just care for a house full of boys, they work hard to know and love each individual boy in it.

Today is River’s day, and his Ranch family is so proud of him. Go show them what you can do, buddy!

There’s just something special about Friday Night Lights…

Yes, we’re proud of our boys out there playing football and making music from the stands. But when you look around, you’ll see what makes it even sweeter.

You’ll see house moms wearing shirts with their boys’ names and numbers proudly displayed. You’ll see little sisters in their “Football Sister” shirts, cheering for their big brothers. You’ll see a whole Ranch family in the stands making sure our boys know somebody showed up just for them.
Because around here, when one of our boys is on that field, we all have a boy on that field. We cheer. We holler. We take way too many pictures. We wear their numbers proudly. And win or lose, they look over and see their family standing there.

This is so much more than football.
This is family. And these are our boys.

We spend so much of our days working together, caring for our boys, solving problems, and doing whatever needs to be done around the Ranch. It was so nice to step away for a little while and simply enjoy some fun and fellowship together.

We truly have the BEST team. I’m so thankful for the people God has brought together at the Ranch and for the friendships that have grown along the way. It really does take a village, and we’re pretty blessed by ours.

A little friendly competition and a whole lot of laughter was good for the soul!

We are so proud to celebrate one of our Ranchers for earning a spot in Elberta High School’s ACT 25+ Club!

We love watching our boys work hard, set goals, and realize just how much they are capable of. Accomplishments like this are about so much more than a test score, they represent determination, discipline, and a bright future ahead.

Way to go Sam!!! Your entire Ranch family is incredibly proud of you, and we can’t wait to see where all that hard work takes you!

It’s officially the first day of school!

Every morning before our boys head out for the day, our Ranch family gathers together at the flag. We say the Pledge of Allegiance, bow our heads in prayer, and then send them out into the world.

There was something a little extra special about it this morning with backpacks on, a brand new school year ahead, and so many new opportunities waiting for each of them.

Please join us in praying for our boys today. Pray for their teachers and school staff, for good friendships, for confidence in new classrooms, and for each of them to remember who they are and how deeply they are loved as they walk through those school doors.

Another one of our Ranchers is off to college!

Today, we sent one of our young men on his way to Southern Union, and we are so incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make sure he left prepared and ready for this next chapter.
Every single item on his Amazon wish list was purchased. Because of you, he was able to head to school with the things he needed and the confidence of knowing there is an entire community standing behind him. Thank you for giving him the very best foot forward as he begins this new journey.

As he travels to school and settles into college life, we ask that you please keep him in your prayers. Pray for safe travels, for good friends and mentors to surround him, for wisdom in the decisions ahead, and most of all, that the lessons, values, love, and guidance poured into him during his time at the Ranch will stick with him wherever life takes him.
