Are you passionate about helping people access resources and reach their goals?
VOAWW is looking for a Support Specialist to join our Integrated Community Services team in Sultan. This position provides resource navigation, case management, and ongoing support to individuals, families, youth, and community members through our Community Resource Centers.

In this role, you will:
🔹 Help participants identify needs, goals, and barriers
🔹 Connect people with community resources and services
🔹 Develop individualized action plans and provide follow-up support
🔹 Build relationships with community partners
🔹 Participate in outreach events, resource fairs, presentations, and other community activities
🔹 Maintain participant records and support program operations

This is an opportunity to work directly with people in the community while helping improve access to services and resources.

🔹 VOA Sultan Food Bank: Provides food assistance to everyone in the community. No eligibility requirements are needed to receive food.

🔹 ECEAP & Affordable Child Care: Our free preschool program is available to eligible low-income families, with affordable child care options also available for families who need them.

🔹 VOA Sky Valley Center: A place for older adults and community members to gather, enjoy a full hot lunch Monday through Friday for just $10, and participate in activities open to the community, including art, bingo, trips, technology help, and more.

At the end of the 2025–26 school year, our Snack Pack Program was providing food each week to 99 children, from preschool through high school.

As we prepare for the new school year, we are asking our community to help us stock up on kid friendly, nutritious snacks and meals for local students who may need extra support.

Some of the items we need include:

- Oatmeal packets
- Individual cereal boxes
- Cereal and granola bars
- Cheese or peanut butter filled crackers
- Fruit snacks and fruit cups
- Macaroni & cheese and Top Ramen
- Jello
- Beef jerky

Monday & Thursday | 9 AM–4 PM

Our VOA Sultan Food Bank is in need of non-perishable food donations. Your support helps provide food to neighbors and families experiencing food insecurity in our community.

The Sultan Community Garden provides fresh produce to families who rely on the VOA Sultan Food Bank and and to seniors in the Community Meal Program at the VOA Sky Valley Center. The garden is planted and cared for by volunteers, and everything we grow is made possible through community donations.
