Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to our beloved Sulphur Sunrise Rotary member, Loria Hess. ❤️

Lori was truly a light to so many, and we know Heaven got a little brighter with her arrival, even though our days here will feel a whole lot dimmer without her.

Back in June, our Rotary family had the privilege of hosting Lip Sync for Lori, a night filled with music, laughter, love, and community—all for someone who meant so much to so many. We will forever be grateful for those memories and for the opportunity to stand beside Lori and her family.

Lori’s light, her spirit, and her love will continue to live on in all of us who were blessed to know her.

Please keep Lori’s family and loved ones in your prayers. ❤️🙏

Until we meet again, Lori. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.

🎉 Happy Birthday to two of our amazing Rotarians, David Busby and Mark Garlington! 🎂

Both of these guys are always ready to serve with a smile, and we are so thankful to have them as part of the Sulphur Sunrise Rotary family! 💙💛

David stepped up to serve as our President for two years and now continues his service as Past President and a member of our board. We appreciate all the time and heart he pours into Rotary!

Mark may be one of our newer members, but he jumped right in and is currently serving as our Sergeant at Arms. We’re so glad you joined us, Mark!

Help us wish David and Mark a very Happy Birthday! 🥳🎈

💙 Thank you, Julia Bourgeois! 💙

Sulphur Sunrise Rotary was honored to have Julia Bourgeois with Families for Inclusion speak to our members recently and share the heart behind their mission.

Families for Inclusion advocates for people with disabilities one heart at a time. Julia and Deveni Polito were inspired by their children, Brooks and Gia, and their shared vision of creating a community where all people are accepted, valued, and given the opportunity to fully participate in everyday life.

We are grateful for people like Julia and Deveni who are working to make our community a more inclusive place for everyone. 💙

Thank you, Julia, for reminding us that inclusion starts with understanding, compassion, and a willingness to see the value in every person.

🌟 Great things are happening right here in our community! 🌟

We were excited to have Megan Hartman with Phillips 66 join us at Sulphur Sunrise Rotary and give us a little insight into all that Phillips 66 does for our community.

Their mission is simple but powerful: to provide energy and improve lives. They produce everything from diesel and gasoline to jet fuel, while also investing in emerging energy spaces that contribute to products like asphalt, paint and batteries.

We also loved hearing from one of our own members, Caleb Miller who shared his personal experience as a Phillips 66 employee. Their commitment to being pro-family has made a tremendous difference in his life. Through fertility benefits and adoption support, something that once seemed out of reach became possible—and today, he and his family are blessed with two beautiful children. ❤️

We’re thankful for the opportunity to learn more about the people and companies working to make a difference in our community!

🎉 Happy Birthday, Jody Espinosa! 🎉

Jody has one of the biggest hearts and is always ready to sing, serve, and capture the moment with her camera! 📸❤️

She does SO much for our community beyond Rotary, and we’re pretty sure she never knows how to say no when there’s a way to help. We are so happy—and so blessed—to have Jody as part of our Sulphur Sunrise Rotary family! 💙💛

Help us wish Jody a very Happy Birthday! 🥳🎂

🎉🎂 Happy Birthday, Rebecca Pousson! 🎂🎉

Rebecca has a heart for service that shines in everything she does—and she does it all to spread a little (or a LOT!) of Jesus along the way. ❤️

She’s definitely the mastermind behind most of our events, and honestly…we don’t know what we’d do without her—and we hope we never have to find out! 😂

We are so thankful for her heart, her leadership, her faith, and everything she pours into Sulphur Sunrise Rotary and our community.

Help us wish Rebecca a VERY Happy Birthday! 🥳💙💛

What a great evening at Sulphur’s Annual National Night Out! 💙💛

Our Sulphur Sunrise Rotary members were proud to cook and serve our award-winning jambalaya while spending time with so many wonderful members of our community.

National Night Out is a great opportunity to bring neighbors together, strengthen community partnerships, and show our appreciation for the dedicated law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and first responders who work every day to keep us safe.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit with us. We always enjoy serving our community, one bowl of jambalaya at a time!
