Artists of the Arbuckles was heartbroken to learn of the death of beloved local artist and one of the founding members of our organization, Jean Carr. Jean’s vision was instrumental in the gallery’s existence, so much so that years later it was voted to name the physical building of Artists of the Arbuckles the Jean Carr Gallery. A beautiful sign saying so was put up for years, but was destroyed in a storm that happened before last year’s tornado.

Rest in Peace Jean, when we see a beautifully painted sky we’ll think of you there, creating beauty with your love on the other side. 💔❤️🎨🖌️

It’s very easy to volunteer for the Red Cross. They will send you notifications every night where help is needed the next day and you can choose where you would like to volunteer and what you would like to do. There are some exciting opportunities. This will be ongoing for weeks, Just sign up with Kenneth / Red Cross at the Crossway Church in Sulphur.
