Kehila Park

Kehila Park Our goal is to break the cycle of foster care! We want permanency for all Oklahoma children! Permanency will be different for each child.

Kehila Park Multi-Generational Foster Care Community seeks to 'Break the Cycle of Foster Care' in as many Oklahoma Foster Children as possible by providing an entire Christ-centered community of support to the whole family. For some it may mean being reunited with their biological families, or adopted into one of our families, or being introduced to another forever family. Together we can 'Break the Cycle of Foster Care'!

Love this!!!

Actor Christian Bale has spent 16 years turning a personal dream into a reality by building a $22 million foster care village in Palmdale, California called Together California.

Shocked to find out that California has more foster children than any other US state, he co-founded the project to solve a heartbreaking issue: siblings being separated from each other when they enter the system.

Normally, brothers and sisters are split up because homes cannot house large groups. This village keeps them under the same roof.

Bale began planning this in 2005 after his daughter was born. He has called it the "most important work" of his life.

He quietly spent over a decade fundraising and gathered support from friends like Leonardo DiCaprio.

The unique neighbourhood sits right next to McAdam Park and is custom-built to feel like a real, supportive community:

There are 12 family homes: These large houses can hold up to six children each under the care of trained foster parents.

They also have special studio apartments give older teenagers a safe place to live as they grow out of the foster system. This helps prevent them from experiencing homelessness when they turn 18.

Bale has also built a 7,000-Square-Foot Community Center. A massive hub that serves as the heart of the village. It provides children with therapy rooms, free tutoring, recreation space, and job training.

Bale hopes this village serves as a master blueprint that other towns and cities can copy across the country.

The village is on track to officially finish building and welcome its first foster families by the end of 2026.

Both sides need advocates…..Find the side you are called to be on, and be His hands and feet.

Both sides need advocates…..
Find the side you are called to be on, and be His hands and feet.

You cannot advocate for children and protect broken adults at the same time.
You have to choose who you are really fighting for.

Because somewhere along the way, we started confusing grace with blind loyalty.
We started calling it “compassion” when adults were given chance after chance
While the child kept getting hurt.
We started worrying more about the parent’s progress than the child’s safety.
And we started treating the child like collateral damage.

I believe in redemption.
I believe in second chances.
But I also believe that children should not be sacrificed on the altar of someone else’s healing.

You can pray for both.
You can love both.
But you cannot protect both when one is still causing harm.
You have to pick a side.

You have to be brave enough to say
“This child comes first.”
Even when the world around you tells you to wait.
To hope.
To give them more time.
More chances.
More grace.

Grace is not placing a child back into the same hands that broke them
If nothing has changed.
If the work has not been done.
If the patterns are still there.
That is not grace. That is gambling with a child’s life.

If you say you are here for the kids
Be here for them
Even when it means saying hard things.
Even when it means people call you judgmental.
Even when it means protecting a child from their own parent.

You cannot stand on both sides.
You cannot shield the child and the person hurting them.
You cannot claim to advocate while staying silent when it matters most.

So choose.
And make sure the one you choose cannot fight for themselves.
Because that is the one who needs you most.

Way to go Oklahoma!!!!

One caring adult can change a child's future. 💙

Beginning in August, Circle of Care is launching a new Kinship Navigation Program serving families across eight northeastern Oklahoma counties. By walking alongside grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and other trusted adults caring for children, we'll help connect families with essential resources, benefits, legal support, caregiver education, and a community that understands their journey.

Because children thrive when they can safely remain connected to the people who love them most.

As we prepare to launch this exciting new program, we're also looking for compassionate professionals who want their work to make a difference every single day. Join the Circle of Care team and help strengthen families across Oklahoma.
