Kehila Park Our goal is to break the cycle of foster care! We want permanency for all Oklahoma children! Permanency will be different for each child.

Kehila Park Multi-Generational Foster Care Community seeks to 'Break the Cycle of Foster Care' in as many Oklahoma Foster Children as possible by providing an entire Christ-centered community of support to the whole family. For some it may mean being reunited with their biological families, or adopted into one of our families, or being introduced to another forever family. Together we can 'Break the Cycle of Foster Care'!

Strong families start with strong support systems.

Beginning July 1, 2026, families participating in OKDHS Child Welfare Services prevention programs or parents with children in custody may be eligible for the SoonerSelect Children's Specialty Program.

CSP benefits may include:
• Transportation assistance
• K-12 and GED tutoring
• Work certification training
• YMCA memberships and more

These resources help connect families with additional support before challenges become crises.

Before you judge a child’s behavior, look a little deeper.

Not every meltdown is defiance. Not every shutdown is disrespect. Not every reaction is a choice.

Some children are carrying things they don’t have the words to explain. Trauma, fear, loss, instability…those things don’t just disappear because they’re in a safe place.

What looks like “bad behavior” is often survival.

So instead of asking, “What’s wrong with them?” Ask, “What have they been through?”

Compassion can change the way we see them.

This is such a good resource to help young children navigate big feelings.

Ruby Finds a Worry by Tom Percival is a children's book about a girl named Ruby who discovers a small worry that grows bigger and bigger as she tries to ignore it, until she learns that talking about worries makes them shrink, a lesson she learns by connecting with another child. Part of the "Big Bright Feelings" series, the book uses a visual metaphor (a growing blob) to help children understand anxiety and the importance of emotional intelligence and sharing feelings.
