Word on the street is that Designer Handbag Bingo tables go on sale in just 7 days. Do you have your tablemates figured out? Time to call your girls, decide who will be the one to stay up late Friday night to reserve the table, and start picking out your outfits! ☎️

Designer Handbag Bingo on August 6th is the event not to miss! 🏃‍♀️

There are 2 ways to get your foot in the door - sponsoring a prize or buying a table. Sponsorships are available right now and tables of 8 will go on sale at 12:01 am on June 20th. To sponsor, visit HandbagBingo26.GiveSmart.com or contact the Foundation at (903) 438-4799 or [email protected].

Individual tickets will only be sold on July 11th if there are any seats available after table sales begin on June 20th. Last year, tables sold out within hours, so we likely won't sell any individual seats. Call up 7 friends and be prepared to buy a table together to be sure you get seats!

The main entrance to CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Sulphur Springs will be closed beginning June 11 for renovations. The entrance is expected to reopen on June 24. Patients and visitors will need to enter the hospital via the emergency room on the East side of the facility.

If you need to visit the Foundation office during this time, just give us a call at (903) 438-4799 and we can meet you in the parking lot. 😊

The handbag line-up from the 2023 Designer Handbag Bingo, sponsored by the Hopkins County Health Care Foundation, featured several designers including luxury brands. The next Designer Handbag Bingo will be held on Thursday, August 6. ✨🩷👛

This popular event funds a free mammography clinic through community support. This year will mark the seventh such fundraising event and the seventh free mammography clinic. The clinic will be held in October, with sign-ups starting in September.

Why should you support Designer Handbag Bingo? Because Bingo funds our annual free mammography clinic that many Hopkins County women have come to rely on. Studies show that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime (source: Susan G. Komen). Mammograms are one of the best ways to detect breast cancer early and catch it in a treatable stage.

Pictured here are the lovely ladies of the breast cancer support group that the Foundation sponsors which meets on the second Monday of every month. Their next meeting is today at 5:30 pm in the Medical Plaza, 113 Airport Road. Any woman who has or has had cancer of any kind can come and bring a friend!

The Foundation also has a free store called In My Closet that offers free wigs, prosthetics, hats, scarves, and more for women who have or have had cancer. All of this is available because of the generosity of supporters like you. Thank you. 🩷

Monday is the next meeting of the Hopkins County Breast Cancer Support Group! Gabriela Camacho RN, BSN is the guest speaker. 🩷

Camacho has had a prolific nursing career and now owns a local wellness clinic: Omega Hydration & wellness . She will talk about vitamin absorption, safe ways to increase immunity, and the benefits of red light therapy.

Women who have or have had any kind of cancer, please join for an evening of fellowship and learning on Monday, June 8, at 5:30 pm in the Medical Plaza, 113 Airport Rd. Meetings include a time for prayer requests, introductions, refreshments, and celebration. Attendees are welcome to bring a friend.

Happy National Donut Day! 🍩 Donut forget... Designer Handbag Bingo is a bring-your-own-food event this year!

This will help the Foundation provide even more free mammograms. Plus, you get to eat whatever food you want to bring!

No outside drinks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, are allowed. Bingo will have a cash bar with wine, soda, and our signature margarita. ✨🍋‍🟩

Have it your way! The Hopkins County Health Care Foundation aims to please by asking each Designer Handbag Bingo participant to provide their own snacks or meals. This will allow attendees to enjoy their favorite foods while allowing the Foundation to continue serving as many women as possible during its free Mammogram Clinic.
