This man was a wonderful person, friend, and Soldier. Our hearts go out to his family, and we pray that he has found peace. His life exemplified the goodness lacking so much in the world today. We are certainly missing his presence, but those who knew him are forever the better for it.

Manchester is the second soldier assigned to Kuwait to die this year.

Again, we take time to contemplate just how much 09/11 changed our country. We remember those who were lost. Again we mourn, and again we celebrate the heroism that sprang from such tragedy. Many were inspired, their patriotism found again deep inside their hearts; some found their sense of patriotism for the first time that morning. May we never lose sight of those feelings, and never forget those sacrifices made by so many.
