Jr Leaders also serve as mentors and role models to the younger 4-Hers.

Jr Leader project allows 4-H members in grades 7-12 the opportunity to provide their adult 4-H volunteers with additional assistance in their 4-H Clubs and related activities.

Our Junior Leaders bundled up and braved the cold to ring the Salvation Army bell as part of their service learning at the Sullivan Save A Lot. Every dollar placed in the Sullivan County Salvation Army kettles stays right here in our community. A huge thank-you to our 4-H’ers for ringing—and to everyone who donated!

Open to all 4-Hers in grades 7–12!

The Junior Leaders program is a great opportunity to grow as a leader, make new friends, and help promote 4-H throughout Sullivan County. You’ll build leadership skills, have fun, and give back to your community—all at the same time!

Join us Tuesday, November 11th from 7–8 PM for our Junior Leader Kickoff Meeting! This is open to 4-Hers in 7th-12th grade!

We’ll have:
A delicious taco bar
Fun games (with prizes)
Junior Leader Board of Directors Elections

Come for the tacos, stay for the fun — and help us kick off an amazing year ahead!

Fair time is here and Jr Leaders are an important part of making things run smoothly and efficiently! Below are some volunteer opportunities this week! Sign up sheets will be available Tuesday at the meeting or call/stop by the Extension office.
🍀 Tuesday, July 8, from 7 to 8 pm we’ll help with fair set up. Fairboard member Ann Case will be there to direct us.
🍀 Wednesday project check-in from 5 to 8 pm: help project superintendents and judges.
🍀 Saturday project check-in from 9 to 11 am and from 11 am to about 2pm. During check in helping project superintendents and judges. Then in the afternoon, the ribbons need placed on projects and double check results are recorded correctly in the binders.

Next Jr Leader meeting is Tuesday, May 13, from 7 to 8p at fairgrounds. We’ll have Bobe’s pizza, play games and have a short meeting. Please remind each other!

At our April meeting, our Junior Leaders rolled up their sleeves and had a blast making care packages for our awesome Sullivan County First Responders just as a little way to say thank you for all that they do!
