Help us help Bert R Russell’s wonderful program ✨ Christmas 4 Kids ✨ starting tomorrow we will be starting our toy drive and accepting new unwrapped toys, at least five dollars or more to give to them to make sure all kids have a wonderful Christmas this year! The podium with the plaque commemorating the tornado tragedy that struck our town and those lost in it, is now complete. A huge Thank you to Mark Lighthizer and John Graham for donating his time, and making this beautiful podium. He staggered the bricks to give more support, and a lovely aesthetic, and placed the plaque in concrete for additional secureness. ❤️

We should have the memorial finished in the next 2 weeks. Weather permitting! Now that we have some consecutive nice weather days we shouldn’t have the risk of the concrete cracking. 🙏🏼

We have partnered with IMI for the new concrete for the memorial. We are only waiting on the weather to be good for the pour. Hoping for a bit higher temps and no rain. As soon as we get a good week of proper temperatures we will get it poured! Thank you for your patience and thank you to IMI for donating half the project! ❤️

A little update on the Tornado memorial. The concrete had a crack all the way through it, so we had it removed and will be having it redone. The sidewalk was not cracked and will remain. We are just waiting on IMI to get back with us on their portion of the project, that’s all we are waiting on. We will update as soon as it’s finished, the benches will be brought and placed along with the podium. It’s been a process and lots of work put into it, and we are ready for it’s completion for the families and loved ones. ❤️
