YARN BOMBING
We are having a meeting at the Art Gallery today (Monday) at noon to discuss the yarn bombing project on June 11.
If you are interested in participating, please join us. You do not need to know how to knit or crochet. Hope to see you! KAT

Flag project reminder:
On Thursday July 2, we would like for everyone who would like to participate to place/poke a flag in the Courthouse lawn for the America250. The flag should be no larger than 8x12 inches.
If you would like to have it for a souvenir, put a piece of colored tape, or a ribbon, or felt maker your name on the stick so you can reclaim it on July 5 when everyone can pick theirs up. Hope to get at least 250!
A special thanks to Stephanie Goodman in the Treasurer's office who bought flags and put a label on each of them for each of the Courthouse offices!

KAT COMMENT: A FUN PROJECT FOR SULLIVANITES
Last year April Cox at the library started the Yarn Bombing Project.
Those of us who participated had a great time doing it. These are pictures that the Art Guild did (Edie Dyer-Wilson did the very creative figure in orange and I had lots of knitted items from JoAnn Carmichael to do the AG pole.) I also received items from Peggy Glidden and Pam Irvin which I will use this year.
Anyway, I am letting you know early . . . Yarn Bombing Day is 6-11-26 . . . so you have time to make stuff (knitted or crocheted) if you'd like to participate this year. You can even reserve a pole, tree, fence, etc. for yourself if you want (Contact April Cox at [email protected] to reserve your spot.)
Hope you'll join us to fill this town with Yarn Bombs!

UPDATE . . . We had a glitch with our drawing for Ginger's painting, so we are doing it again. If you put your name in the fishbowl the first time, please stop by the Gallery and do it again. The drawing will be at the end of June. Hours open Th and Fri 11-4 and Sat 10-12:30. Good luck!

The Sullivan Area Art Guild Gallery will be reopening on Thursday, February 5, with our 12th annual, Fiber, Fabric, and Quilt show. It will run through the month of February. Days and hours are.. Thursday and Friday 11-4, and Saturday 10-12:30.
