Sula Community Historical Society, Inc The Schoolhouse was repaired in 2011 by a wonderful group of community volunteers. The School is now

Founded in 1897, the Sula Schoolhouse was built by local ranchers so their children would have a safe learning environment. It was in use until 1936, when the Darby School was opened, and children attended there. Since then, its' only use has been as hay storage for the local ranchers. The school was in serious disrepair, but has now been restored.

Learn how to support your community during an emergency.
Join us on Thursday, August 27, at 6PM for a free community shelter training located at 601 W Main St, Hamilton, MT, hosted by our partners at .montana.redcross. This training will give you an inside look at how emergency shelters operate, provide guidance on how community members can support shelter activities, and offer an opportunity to connect with other engaged members of the community.
