Today, August 19, is World Humanitarian Day, a time to honor the people who step forward when others need support.

Here in Fort Bend County, compassionate action can look like food for a family, stability during housing uncertainty, emotional and family wellness support, or skills that create a path forward.

Through Scratch Hunger, Safe Sanctuary, Wellness Works, and Next Level Empowerment, Palmer House helps families move forward with dignity and hope.

Honor the helpers. Strengthen the community. Share this reel with someone who believes compassion should become action.

Wellness is more than how you feel.

During National Wellness Month, we are reminded that wellness touches every part of life.

Through Wellness Works, Palmer House connects people with compassionate support for emotional well being, maternal and infant care, financial literacy, workforce development, and the practical skills that help families move forward with confidence.

Help us expand the conversation about whole person wellness. Share this reel with someone in Fort Bend County.

August is National Wellness Month.

Wellness does not have to begin with a complete life overhaul. It can begin with one intentional choice. A walk outside. A nourishing meal. A moment of rest. Time to care for your mind. A meaningful connection with someone you trust.

This month, Palmer House invites you to make your well-being a priority in a way that feels realistic, supportive, and personal.

What is one thing you will do for your wellness this August?
