Innovest Afrika

Our final stop: Nairobi, Kenya. 🇰🇪

The last, but definitely not the least!

The hall was buzzing with founders, investors, operators, ecosystem partners, and peers who came to experience what our Innovest Ignite Cohort 6 founders are building.

From female-led agribusinesses to health tech, fintech, sports tech, and more, these founders are solving real problems and building for Africa.

Huge shoutout to our panelists for the insights on: “Building What’s Next: What Will It Take to Build Africa’s Next Generation of Scalable Businesses?”

And to our judges for the evaluations and feedback.

Special thanks to Calvin Jodisi & the Asenti team for coordinating, and Baraza Media Lab for hosting us.

Big thank you to our sponsoring partner Value4Her represented by Stevelee M, for supporting our women agribusiness founders. And our panelists Seun Akoyon, Kelly Hirwa & Sibane Nxumalo thank you for the insights on “Building What’s Next. How to build a scalable business”

Shoutout to our founder BabaF3M1 and the entire Innovest Afrika team; our ecosystem partner 250Startups and coordinator Gift Divine, for coordinating the event.

Last Friday was electric! ⚡

Our Innovest Afrika Cohort 5 founders took the stage to pitch their businesses to peers, investors, and ecosystem partners.

A huge thank you to our sponsoring partner Value4Her and our incredible panelists for sharing valuable insights on: “Building What’s Next: What Will It Take to Build Africa’s Next Generation of Scalable Businesses?”

Our founder BabaF3M1 reminded the founders that - building a scalable company is a marathon, not a sprint. Stay focused. Stay locked in.

Appreciation to the entire Innovest Afrika team for making it happen.
