It’s been some time since we’ve updated the page. But we have great news ~ after visiting Haiti again this year, Sydney believes she has been called to missions (specifically mental health as it relates to orphan care). So grateful for her heart ❤️.

My daughter's nonprofit organization is creating Bags of Hope! Stay tuned for outreach information.

CHOCAAT loves children. We are creating Bags of Hope for children who have been affected by the recent weather events. Thank you to Vetrice Doyle and Hydrochem for being our current collection sites. If you would like to donate or become a donation site, please let us know. The bags will go to children in shelters, hotels, churches and schools. Thank you.
We are only accepting in-kind donations:
Coloring sheets/books
Crayons
Pens/pencils
Small toys/cards
Stickers
Snack size snacks
Candy
Small Notepads for journaling
Gallon size Ziploc bags
Please do not make any monetary donations.

Hello Friends,

It is our hope and prayer that you are doing well after the recent weather events. This organization was started because Sydney has a heart for children. When starting this organization, our sole purpose was to help orphans in Haiti. However, we could not sit by and not do anything to help our neighbors. Therefore, CHOCAAT will be partnering with a local school system to bring smiles to children faces who have been impacted by the recent hurricane. Please be on the lookout for locations and requests for in-kind donations within the next week or so. We have been out in the community helping and plan to do more in the coming weeks. Hi everyone! This is Sydney! I just wanted to say thank you for all of the donations and prayers while I was in Haiti! I had a life changing experience hanging with the orphans & they impacted my life immensely. They showed me how to be grateful for every little thing & I could not have gotten there without y'all and for that I'm so grateful!
