WANTED: SFA High School Bulldog Band & Angels Sponsors!!

If you know of a business or have a business in the Sugar Land /Houston area, please consider SPONSORING the SFA High School Bulldog Band & Angels Dance Team!

This is the LARGEST and most recognized student group at the high school and we aim to give our sponsors the highest level of exposure.

Our Sponsorship level begins at $250 and UP! We also offer FAMILY sponsorship for $100 and you can have your Family name on a dog bone that goes on the band trailer. If you are a Platinum, Diamond, or Gold level, your logo or business name can be on our band's trailer which is parked at the school and at all the football games/contests.

If not, NOW is the time! Every student must have a completed physical before arriving Thursday morning in order to participate. Don’t wait until the last minute!

The SFA Band is proud to celebrate Ian Murray as he performs this summer with the Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps!

Drum Corps International (DCI) represents the highest level of the marching arts. Each summer, performers from across the country earn spots through highly competitive auditions, then spend months rehearsing and touring nationwide while performing world-class productions.

Being selected to march with the Blue Stars is an incredible achievement and reflects Ian’s talent, dedication, and relentless work ethic. We are proud that he continues to represent the SFA Band family on the national stage.

If you’re in Houston tonight, be sure to check out the DCI Houston show at Legacy Stadium and cheer Ian on as he performs with the Blue Stars! Tickets are available at dci.org or you can simply join in the parking lot as a fan.

🎶 Throwback Thursday! 🎶

Summer Band is just ONE WEEK AWAY, and we couldn’t be more excited! As we count down, we’re taking a look back at some of our favorite memories from last season.

From unforgettable performances and exciting travels to lifelong friendships and incredible growth, every moment has helped shape who we are as a band. ❤️

Here’s to making even more memories together. We can’t wait to kick off Summer Band next Thursday! It’s going to be an amazing year!

Have you completed your physical? Have you registered for band? Have you registered for BOA San Antonio?

Parents, please head over to the Facebook booster page (picture attached) and join if you have not yet. It provides some great information throughout the year and fun items like pictures and videos. Currently there are some great questions/answers about where students can get their physicals quick and cheap. 

Summer Run Club meets again today at 6:30. It’s a wonderful way to get outside with our members and get yourself acclimated to the heat. Speaking of heat, be purposeful with being outside over the next week to help prepare yourself for summer band.

Congratulations to the Stephen F. Austin Concert Bands on outstanding performances at UIL this past weekend!

Our Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band both earned straight Superior ratings, and the Concert Band received Excellent ratings across the board. We are incredibly proud of the preparation, focus, and musicianship these students demonstrated on stage.

A special shoutout to our middle school partners at Garcia and Sartartia. All four of their ensembles earned straight Superior ratings as well! The future is bright in the SFA Band.

Performance recordings are now available, and we couldn’t be more proud of what our students have accomplished this year. We hope you’ll join us for our Spring Concert on May 12th!
