The Rachel Hunt Memorial Scholarship Foundation for Juniors

We have several new followers so I thought it might be helpful to explain how the scholarship awards work. We are a stand alone non profit which enables us to award scholarships to Best Junior and Reserve Best Junior at shows we are able to support.
A Foundation member ensures that proper documents are signed by the winning Juniors and their parent. The Juniors have until their 21st birthday to contact us and let us know where to send the funds. The funds must go directly to an institution of higher learning .
Over the years we have been able to expand the number of Clubs we have been able to support and in some instances increase the amounts awarded.
All this is made possible by your continued support.

We are so excited to announce our upcoming Scholarship opportunities for Juniors. We will be at the Borzoi National Specialty in Omaha Nebraska May 15. The theme for this year is “celebrating our Juniors “. With that in mind, we will offer a $1000 scholarship for Best Junior and $500 for Reserve.
In June we will be at the Chicadee Classic Cluster of shows in Maine. We will be offering 3 days of Scholarships!
As always we want to encourage participation in Juniors and also support higher education.

Congratulations to our Sunday Scholarship winners at the Brazos Valley Kennel Club show. Miss Chloe Ryan was awarded Best Junior and a $500 scholarship and Miss Madison Hines was Reserve winning the $400 Scholarship. Thank you Ringside Hounds for allowing us to use the lovely win photos this weekend! Thank you Kimberly Stopyak for keeping up with everything.

Congratulations are in order for Best Junior Miss Emma Rotter our $500 Scholarship winner, and Miss Liliana Gutierrez our $400 Scholarship winner. Liliana also happens to be a previous winner!
We also want to send out a special thank you to Sunshine Gipson for the lovely ringside photos and Kimberly Stopyak for always stepping up to help us with paperwork and standing in for us when we can’t attend.

Congratulations to Friday’s Scholarship winners! Miss Rylinn Cranfill won a $500 Scholarship by winning Best Junior at the Brazos Valley Kennel Club show and Miss Bailee Liotto won a $400 Scholarship for winning Reserve. Miss Bailey is a previous recipient! Well done Ladies.

Entries close tomorrow at noon for the Brazos Valley Kennel Club shows in Navasota. The Superintendant is Foy Trent.
Juniors we will be offering a $500 scholarship for Best Junior and $400 for Reserve on Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Get those entries in! We are cheering you on

Sunday at the Corpus Christi Kennel Club show, Best Junior was Breana Motsinger who added a $500 scholarship to her total for the weekend. Reserve Junior was Brenley Massie who added another $400 scholarship to her total.
Congratulations ladies!

Congratulations to yesterday’s scholarship recipients! Miss Brenley Massie won a $500 scholarship for Best Junior and Reserve Junior and a $400 scholarship went to Miss Breana Motsinger at the Corpus Christi Kennel Club show. Well done ladies!

Congratulations to Blythe Bremser who was awarded Best Junior and a $500 Scholarship. Congratulations are also in order for Baylen Emfinger who was awarded Reserve Junior and a $400 Scholarship. These young ladies did a fabulous job .

Congratulations to Brenley Massie who won a $500 Scholarship for Best Junior today and Eleanor Hiedsch who won Reserve Junior and a $400 Scholarship. Both these ladies did a fantastic job.
