Thank you, guys, for all your prayers. We have completed step 1 of the process for gene therapy and have made it back home. My daughter is so strong. God has really answered my prayer. I am so fulled with joy and emotions. God did not give up on my baby. We are truly walking by faith and believing in his word.

Prayer Request: Good Morning Facebook Family,
Please say a prayer for my daughter, my family and I as we traveled to New York to begin the process for my daughter being cured from Sickle Cell Disease. The disease has tormented our family for over 20 years. Sickle Cell has caused our family so much hurt and grief. To see my daughter in so much pain , can't walk, can't swim, can't play sports, can't take advantage of her full life's potential, or just being a normal kid has been devastating; especially when there is nothing I can do about it. As a mother I am dealing with making the right medical decision for my daughter's health. I have prayed and cried, cried and prayed, screamed and shouted , I have even ask God why did he chose my babygirl to have this harsh, brutal, as I thought forever disease. I have blamed myself , I have felt like giving up, I am tired of this diease yall. Just when I felt the weight of this disease was weighing on me mentally. I asked God do I really have to deal with this 20 more years, do I really have to deal with this disease for ever ?...................................... BUT GOD HAD A DIFFERENT PLAN- A CURE FOR SICKLE.
