Volleyball summer league is back! With games the first four Mondays in June, we would love to open concessions if we are able. Each Monday we will be looking for two people who can work a two hour shift. A booster officer will open and close the concessions each evening. Concessions will be limited....

BUYRV would like to congratulate all of our teams on a great spring season!

We are proud of the hard work, growth, and teamwork shown by each team throughout the year. We also want to wish our sixth graders the best of luck as they move on to 7th grade next year.

We can’t wait to see all of our returning teams back on the court next fall!

Dates and opportunities to keep in mind:

For any 6th graders moving into 7th grade, it is highly recommended that you take advantage of the Monday/Thursday lifting and open gyms.

For players returning this fall, please keep an eye out for dates to be announced soon for the high school-hosted biddy camp. Exact dates have not been shared yet, but we believe it will be near the end of July.

We are also hoping to start weekly open gyms for biddy players leading into the fall season, similar to what we did last year.

Good luck to all of our Berne Union Rockets youth volleyball players as the season kicks off tonight! We’re excited to see all of your hard work pay off and can’t wait to watch you grow and compete this season.

A quick reminder for families attending games at the Chieftain Field House: admission this year is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for students over age 6.

As we get started, please remember how important communication is. If your player is unable to attend a game, let your coach know as soon as possible so they have time to find a substitute if needed.

We also want to emphasize that BUYR has a zero-tolerance policy for any negative behavior toward players, coaches, or officials. Everyone involved is a volunteer giving their time and effort—please choose kindness (or quiet) and help us keep this a positive environment for all.

Lastly, during matches, please allow the coaches to do the coaching. Players are learning and growing, and coaches are best equipped to guide them through mistakes and successes. The best thing you can do from the sidelines is cheer them on and enjoy watching them develop for the next level.
