Sugar Salem Grid Kid Football

Sugar-Salem Grid Kid Football is a competitive youth tackle football organization with teams in 4th through 8th grade.

We strive to develop student-athletes through safety, skills, and sportsmanship. We compete in the Upper Vally Grid Kid league. All Home games are generally played at the Sugar-Salem High School Football field. All Away games are played within southeast Idaho locations.

🏈GREAT SEASON to the 4th, 5th and 6th grade teams! Thank you parents and coaches for taking time to make it happen! These players are awesome and we are excited for their future!🏈

🔹️They will have equipment return tonight 6-730pm at the shed. Please wash helmets pads and pants. Remove any stickers or chin straps that you added.🔹️

🔹️CONGRATULATIONS to our 7th and 8th grade teams!🔹️
They will be playing in the first round of playoffs this Wednesday, Oct.15.
🏈 The 7th grade team completed their season with a perfect 6:0 record!
🏈The 8th grade has held strong in the tough A division and can finish their gridkid career with their heads held high! They will do big things in High school starting next year!

🥺 It's the final regular season game, we have had so much fun and luckily had a MOSTLY warm season 😉
🏈That being said, stay tuned to see what teams go on to the playoffs starting next week! We are so proud of all these players and wish them luck in the next season, some will be leaving us for highschool football and others will be joining us fresh as new 4th graders!🏈

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED, SHARED OR CAME TO THE CONDITIONING WITH THEIR BOYS(more teams get to experience this so stay tuned for pictures)
Our program is run on volunteers both time and dedication. These funds will greatly impact the future of our youth and football program!

Mark your calendars October 10 will be GridKid night at the Varsity home game! More details to come from your coaches!

It's thats time of year in Idaho, our first games are frosted❄️ while our last games need sunscreen and AC 🌞
8th grade team is playing on turf so wear protective gear! The other 3 teams play at home with 5th grade having their BYE week.

Our 6th grade and 8th grade teams won a practice with their mom's this week. You can see from the pictures that these mom's went all out to make sure they showed their boys who was still the boss! 😉 Some of them even had to show up to both practices this week! 😱 after a game of Flag football, some relays, and good conditioning, these mom's are ready to suit up and get out on the field 🤔...or just make sure their boys' are ready for games this weekend. 😜 Either way our mom's rocked the practices and we appreciate them for all they do for our players and coaches!
🏈Some people have to wait their entire lives to meet their favorite football player. We are raising ours!🏈
