Driver Days Fall Festival is next weekend so just over a week away! The parade on Saturday starts at 10 am. We will have a booth there both days. It’s always a fun event. The pet costume contest is Sunday afternoon (not sure of the exact time yet). So bring your pet dressed in their best Halloween costume! It is free to enter, you just need to sign up for it at our booth and then be present at the time of the contest!

Wade is such a ridiculously spoiled boy…. He is now referred to as “My Son” because he is so attached to me and he only wants attention from Mike when Mike has a treat or food for him. Wade always wants me to carry him like a child, needs to be sitting in my lap and then at night he likes laying on his back with his head on my neck or chest. Yeah just a tad spoiled! 😂

Jazzie opening the package we got from Amazon today… I had to stop the video and run after her so she didn’t break open the jug of pet cleaner 🤣

Jazzie was outside with me when our package from Amazon came today and then helped me open the box… I’ll post the video I took in a separate post because the formatting keeps getting messed up if I combine it with the pictures. Those new Amazon vans are stealthy quiet, the dogs can all hear the mail truck, UPS and FedEx coming before they are all within sight!!

Huge thank you to the Suffolk Virginia Sheriff's Office for including us in their Pet Pantry drive at Walmart today and to everyone that donated to it! The dogs and cats are very happy about the food, treats and toys! Thomas helped me with moving the bags of cat food in the barn by holding the bags down on the dolly and Nate helped me unpack the bag with cat treats and toys. ❤️

Silly Millie barking at me yesterday evening to say it should be dinner time! Millie is 100% all about wanting food and getting as many treats as she can convince us to give her every day.

Just a tad spoiled… Wade always wants me to bring him a bowl of water in the morning and right before bed so he can drink water and not have to get off the bed… 😂 Mimi joined him this time!

Yesterday we took Jazzie to get some lunch and then her and I went for a very leisurely walk at Lake Meade Park while Mike went to get a new board to fix the dog ramp. Jazzie had a great time; nuggets and fries and then slowly meandering and sniffing everything in the woods. She was in no hurry to go anywhere 😂 She did show interest in getting in thr water so we’ll have to take her somewhere, when the weather cools off, where she can get in some shallow water!
