Today at Largo High School in Largo, Maryland, we facilitated a S.T.E.M.-based interactive activity centered on a helpdesk simulation. Students assumed various roles—Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 technicians, and supervisors—while engaging with different personality scenarios, including level-headed users, upset customers, and frustrated technicians. The exercise focused on developing communication, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence skills, teaching students how to effectively manage both challenging and positive attitudes in a professional helpdesk environment.
