What a wonderful day of worship today!
Our new T-shirts made from locally grown cotton were unveiled, folks got to see our new administrative and pastor spaces, our temporary nursery was out into place while we enter into new phases of renovations, and mostly importantly our hearts gathered together to worship our Loving Creator.

Death by su***de touches far too many lives, and many of us have wondered how we can help someone who may be struggling.

The good news is that there is a simple, practical training that equips ordinary people to recognize the warning signs of su***de, respond with care, and connect others with the help they need.

On September 19, Oakland Christian UCC will host this important training. We encourage you to register soon, as space is limited. Together, we can help create a community where no one has to struggle alone.

Join us Friday, August 7, 2026, at 9:00 AM at both Suffolk Walmart locations for our Annual School Supply Drive. Help us collect school supplies for students in need. We are accepting backpacks, notebooks, crayons, pencils, and more!

Don't forget- it is TAX FREE Weekend! 💲💲
