Yesterday, Oakland Christian UCC gathered for a wonderful workshop with Rev. Kelly Brill of Calm Consulting. It has been a great weekend of conversation, listening, relationship building, and dreaming together as we discern what kind of church God is calling us to be in the years ahead.

We’re excited to welcome Rev. Brill to the pulpit this morning as our guest preacher as we continue this important journey together!

Come and join us at 11am! It’s even better with you here.

🥈 Two years in a row!

Oakland Christian UCC is the Silver winner for Best Church in the Suffolk News Herald’s Local Choice Awards—for the second consecutive year!

Thank you to everyone who voted and everyone who makes Oakland a place of welcome, worship, fellowship, and service. We’re grateful for this recognition and for the opportunity to love and serve our Suffolk community.

Come celebrate with us—and come as you are. ❤️

You are not alone. You are loved.

We were blessed to have these folks gather this morning for training on the QPR su***de prevention measures. We are are especially grateful to the Sarah Michelle Peterson Foundation for providing this training.
As a long standing presence in our community, we are committed to continuing to provide and share these opportunities with our neighbors.
