As we head into June, our workshop schedule is a little lighter with only four SAGE workshops on the calendar. Behind the scenes, however, we are experiencing a season of growth, change, and transition.

Change is a natural part of life, and every challenge brings an opportunity to learn, adapt, and become stronger. Through it all, I want to thank everyone who continues to stand by SAGE, support our mission, and believe in the work we do.

SAGE is more than an organization to me—it’s my life’s work. Every workshop, every conversation, every song, and every moment of connection matters. The support we receive from our community means more than words can express.

No matter what obstacles may arise, we will continue moving forward, bringing hope, creativity, and recovery to the people we serve. The mission remains the same, and our commitment is stronger than ever.

We just got done with possibly the best workshop we’ve ever had at Seafeild!!! So grateful for the opportunity to touch people’s lives at a moment when they desperately need it🙏🏻 Next stop is tomorrow night at Thomas Hope, It’s an Open Mic and all are welcome. We’ll see you tomorrow night

Are you looking for something to do on Sunday? Well, we have you covered, Bring the kids it’s a free event. We’re talking amazing food. We’re talking great music of course because we’re gonna be there., We’re talking a reptile show for the kids so they can hold snakes and dragons and stuff, And of course, RECOVERY!!! Earth Day is one of those days we look forward to all year—full of music, great food, family fun, and the recovery community coming together—and being invited back this year is a beautiful reminder that SAGE is growing, reaching more hearts, and continuing the work we’ve always dreamed of.

Feelings of joy, strength and resilience radiated throughout the East Meadow Public Library, as Serene and Grateful Entertainment, or SAGE, hosted a creative showcase, highlighting the talents of musicians, poets, artists and more.
