It is because of Ms Steinem and those with her that we have the protections we do today. The work however, is not yet done as all forms of abuse and horrific violence continue to escalate. We honor her legacy and are dedicated to pursuing equal protections and safety for all within their homes & relationships.

August 26th is recognized as Women’s Equality Day. Today is about honoring the activists who have come before us and recognizing how far we still have to go. Join us in honoring over 100 years of women gaining the right to vote in the United States. Our services strive to work with survivors who experience inequality. If you or someone you know is experiencing any form of abuse, call our hotline at (631) 666-8833 or visit our website at liadv.org
